About Me

I am an Instructor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Manitoba. My teaching efforts are rooted in a passion for developing innovative educational strategies that enhance learning experiences for students at all levels.

My professional journey spans various roles over the last decade, including technical educator, mentor, tutor, and professional development leader. I've actively participated in initiatives like Hour of Code and contributed significantly to university-level course instruction, emphasizing a personalized approach to student engagement and learning.

Beyond my instructional commitments, I fervently advocate for continuous learning and professional growth. I hold active memberships with the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) and AnitaB.org, where I also serve on the board of trustees. My work with these organizations reflects my dedication to fostering inclusive and supportive learning environments that encourage students to pursue their careers and develop their skills in computer science.

I am deeply committed to teaching excellence, adopting whatever educational styles best resonate with my students to ignite their passion for computer science and empower them on their learning journeys.
